i have been meaning to post one of my favorite jackets of the year, this tna fishtail parka from aritzia.  i got it for my birthday in february and it has been my number one jacket for everyday wear.  it's light, roomy enough to layer and perfect for rainy washington.  ever since it came into my hands, i certainly have abused it and have been wearing it to its fullest potential.  i'm surprised that it took me this long to finally post an outfit with it because it's been my favorite!

i had to dress up for an occasion the other day and since i had to walk all around the city, i kept it simple and easy. 

this is the second outfit post where i am wearing another necklace that i have made.  a little over a year ago i was obsessed with making my own necklaces.  it died as soon as school got busier.  i am hoping to do a tutorial sometime on how to make one, i just have to figure out how i am going to take the pictures since i have never done a tutorial post before.

i love a good pair of utility pants and jacket.  i think that the extra pockets and rough material adds a nice austere feel to a soft look.  i've had these pair of pants for almost two years now and i don't think i can ever get tired them.  happy monday everyone!
